Newcastle United fans have been sent to an uproar on social media following the latest transfer speculation linking them to a move for Phil Jones.

According to the Mirror, the Magpies intend to give Manchester United central defender a chance to stay in the top flight, as manager Steve Bruce is ready to take him on this summer.
