Strictly Come Dancing Week 8 aired tonight and eight stars hit the dance floor to secure a spot in Blackpool Week this weekend (Saturday, November 16). Strictly Professional Neil Jones returned to the show this week following a two-week absence due to a terrible leg injury, and he and Alex Scott opened the show with an energetic jive. So who impressed the jury tonight and is currently at the top of the Strictly Leaderboard?

Tonight on Strictly Come Dancing, eight couples hit the dance floor to impress the judges and audience at home
Last week, Karim Zeroual and his partner Amy Dowden were at the top of the leaderboard for their flawless performance of Quickstep.
Tonight, Saffron Barker and AJ Pritchard have knocked out judges Craig Revel Horwood, Shirley Ballas, Dame Darcey Bussell and Motsi Mabuse with their waltz performance.
The soap star Kelvin Fletcher and drag race judge Michelle Visage also left a big impression on the judges.

Unfortunately for Mike Bushell and Katya Jones, their performance of the Paso Doble scored a below-average 25/40.
Saffron and AJ were at the top of the Strictly leaderboard this week, with 39 out of 40 points.
The duo received 10 from judges Motsi Mabuse, Shirley Ballas and Bruno Tonioli, as well as a score of nine from Craig Revel Horwood.
Most and Shirley gave the couple standing ovations after their performance.
In second place were Michelle Visage and Giovanni Pernice, who scored 36 points out of 40 for their American Smooth performance.
Kelvin Fletcher and Oti Mabuse took third place with 35 out of 40 points for their performance in salsa.

At the end of the Strictly ranking Mike Bushell and Katya Jone were 25 out of 40 points.
Sports host Mike Bushell and his partner Katya Jones have found themselves three times in the dance, although they were not at the bottom of the leaderboard every week, but unfortunately tonight was not going well for the couple.
They were closely followed by Chris Ramsey and his partner Amy Dowden with a score of 26 out of 40 for their performance of the tango.

Who will win Strictly Come Dancing 2019?
At the moment, Kelvin Fletcher and his partner Oti Mabuse are the favorites to win Strictly Come Dancing among bookmakers.
Kelvin had been very popular in this year's competition, although he joined the competition at the last minute to replace the injured Made in Chelsea star Jamie Laing.
He is currently at 8/11 to win the competition at Skybet, Ladbrokes and Betfair.
The second favorite to win is Karim and Amy, who led the leaderboard last week.
They have a quota of 3/1 at Paddypower, Coral and Betfred.
The third favorite is drag race star Michelle and her partner Giovanni.
Michelle and Giovanni are 12/1 at Coral, Skybet and Ladbrokes.
Unfortunately for Mike Bushell he is the favorite.
Ladbrokes' Alex Apati said, "It's hard to see that Mike will survive another week as we approach the commercial end of the series and all signs point to an inevitable exit."
