Strictly Come Dancing is waiting in the wings and is ready to return to our screens in September. Strictly Come Dancing 2019 now has a confirmed cast that includes athletes, soap stars and even a comedian. After the cast has been confirmed, the fans are wondering which stars will meet with which pros.
Kevin Clifton, the current Strictly Come Dancing champion, has already left some clues as to who he would like to dance with this year.
However, many fans are surprised by the veteran Anton Du Beke and with whom he could do the tango.
Anton, who is part of the series since the first series, seems to have given no indication of his preference.
However, a quick glance at his former dance partner could provide clues as to who this year's celebrity partner might be.

His success on the show varied as the victorious star moved closer to Lesley Garrett in 2004, when the pair was placed third in second place.
He also had some luck with BBC Proms presenter Katie Derham in 2015 and actress Laila Rouass in 2009 – both times in fourth place.
Last year was the star's worst run after he and fashion guru Susannah Constantine were the first to leave the competition.

Anton hopes for a better run this year after his brief stay in 2018.
After his former partners, Anton is often associated with older women, so he could perhaps team up with Anneka Rice, the television presenter of the 90s, or RuPauls drag race star Michelle Visage.
Anton will work with the other dance pros to find out who he's going to dance with at the opening show this year, scheduled to air in early September.
Although Anton had no idea who he wanted to be with, he made a cheeky remark on his 226,000 followers on Twitter as he pocketed his new novel.

Earlier this year, Anton talked about his desire to become a judge after Darcey Bussell announced that she would leave.

He told Graham Norton's BBC Radio 2 show, "I am definitely qualified, I suspect there will be talks.
"You know how it works on TV. It's one of those things. I'm definitely qualified for that. "
"I would like to do it, but then I have to wait to be asked as usual.
"I wish I could make the decision for her. But if I could, I would have made the final 12 times. "
Motsi Mabuse was recently announced as the new judge, and Anton welcomed the newcomer.
He shared the announcement from the BBC and wrote, "Welcome to the Motsi family!
"You're going to have a great time, I can not wait to get started! X."
