MICHELLE Visage was berated for a seat on Strictly's live arena tour and received the message in a "blunt" email.
The 51-year-old has consistently scored high on the show, but was shot down by the producers after she was told they would be considered for a spot.
Daily Star reports that Michelle received the disappointing news last week.
An insider said, "Michelle was approached by the producers who worked on the tour some time ago, they talked them through the data and asked if it was available.
"But then she suddenly got an e-mail saying it was not needed, the message was brief and clear.
"Michelle was confused and annoyed by the whole thing, trying hard to impress Strictly and feeling she deserved a place on the tour."
The Sun Online asked the BBC for a comment.
Michelle is partner of the show with Italian Giovanni Pernice.
And the direct judge of Drag Race UK was praised by the judges throughout the series.
She received the standard payment of £ 25,000 for the booking.
And since she managed to stay on the dance floor by the end of October, her check is raised to 40,000 pounds.
Any star who makes it to the quarter-finals will raise his fee to £ 60,000 – and if he wins, he'll cash in a whopping £ 100,000.
Celebrities can also earn extra money by signing up for the live tour.
It takes place in the spring, the year after the end of the series.
