MEGHAN Markle's earlier TV show Suits made fun of the duchess's new life as the show's final series aired.
The Duchess of Sussex was a successful actress before she married Prince Harry. She was best known for her role as Rachel Zane in the legal drama Suits.
The new mother left the show with her latest episode, aired last April, just a month before she married Prince Harry.
The 38-year-old quit her acting job to become a full-time queen, but there was speculation that she could return to the show in a cameo role broadcasting her final season.
While Meghan, aka Rachel, has not returned, her husband Mike Ross, played by Patrick J Adams, has surfaced.
Mike is making a comeback in Episode 5 and talking to other performers who wonder how Rachel is doing.
Mike says, "If I told you how good you are, you probably would not believe me."
Suits tweeted a clip of the episode titled, "It turns out Rachel is REALLY doing well," along with a blinking emoji.
It is believed that the show makes a subtle reference to Meghan's new life as a member of the British royal family.
The fans loved the mention of how well Rachel performs on the show.
In a comment on Twitter, one person said, "This line was too cute."
Another wrote: "We know that she is married to our British Prince Charming.
A third added, "Oh, that's really cute, I hope she sees it."
And that person added, "We probably would not believe him."
Patrick told Entertainment Tonight how the show keeps Rachel up to date: "For Mike, this is just a trip to New York.
"There are phone calls with Rachel saying goodbye, and I love you, and I think there is an obvious confirmation that she's still there and that she's part of the show.
"This is just one way for him to visit his friends one last time."
With the final season only visible in the fifth of 16 episodes, there could be even more clues to Rachel's new life.
Meghan's co-stars were invited to their Windsor Castle wedding last May, and some were also on their guest list at their lavish baby shower in New York.
