Rain and wind affected the provincial capital and inland towns such as Empedrado, San Luis and San Cosme, reported Civil Defense sources.
In the capital city there were collapses of buildings, trees and light poles, with strong winds from the southwest that reached 80 kilometers, according to local media.

Spokesmen for Civil Defense said that “so far there are no victims or evacuees.”.
The Provincial Directorate of Energy of Corrientes (Dpec) reported damage in at least 12 neighborhoods in the medium and high voltage network and that the neighborhood most affected is “La Chola”, where work was being done to restore service.
The other affected neighborhoods were Independencia, San Antonio Este, San Antonio Oeste, Doctor Montaña, San Roque Este, San Roque Oeste, Alta Gracia, San Benito, Aldana, 17 de Agosto and Güemes.
