A digital E3, free and with the support of (almost) all companies
Ubisoft Forward is a brand that the video game company established last year, when all firms were forced to launch their own digital event due to mobility restrictions caused by the coronavirus. In 2020 there were two editions of Ubisoft Forward, one in July, mainly starring Far Cry 6, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Watch Dogs Legion Y Hyper Scape, and another in September, in which we could see news from Rainbow Six Siege, For Honor, as well as the first glimpses of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake Y Riders Republic.
Although Ubisoft was the first company to take a place on the calendar of the E3 2021, which will be held online from June 12 to 15, will not be the only firm to support this year’s edition, a fair that for the first time in its history will be completely virtual and free, despite rumors pointing to the contrary. Among the companies that will attend this E3 we find big names like Xbox, Nintendo, Capcom, Konami, Take-Two, Warner Bros. y Koch Media, although also some forgotten ones such as Sony, EA, Activision Blizzard, Sega, Bandai Namco or Square Enix, who have not confirmed attendance at the moment.
