This was announced by the State Coordination of Civil Protection, with information from the National Meteorological Service, an instance that warned of the proximity of the Cold Front Number Nine.
The current phenomenon will rapidly sweep across the northern and northeastern border of Mexico on Saturday, and it is expected that on Sunday it will move eastward and away from the national territory.
According to the forecasts issued for the next few hours, for San Luis Potosí a cloudy sky is expected, with isolated rains of 0.1 to 5.0 millimeters (mm), a cold environment with morning frosts in mountainous areas, as well as a hot environment in the afternoon.
Cold Front No. 8 will extend over the border states of the north and northeast of Mexico, will cause intervals of showers accompanied by electric shocks and winds with gusts of 50 to 60 km / h in Coahuila, Nuevo León and Tamaulipas.
The weather forecast for the weekend in the San Luis Potosí metropolitan area will be as follows: a sunny day is also forecast for Saturday, with a maximum of 25 and a minimum of 9 degrees Celsius; For Sunday, a mostly sunny day is expected with a maximum of 28 and a minimum of 9 degrees Celsius and for Monday, a partially cloudy start of the week is also expected with a maximum of 28 and a minimum of 10 degrees Celsius.
