turns Chelsea’s maiden season under Frank Lampard into a big hit.

England forward Abraham scored his 13th Premier League goal of the season while Chelsea beat Burnley 3-0 on Saturday to cement fourth place.

Lampard’s men had collapsed from subsequent home losses in Bournemouth and Southampton over the Christmas period and were fighting for mastery of home soil.

But the Blues have grown in rhythm and confidence in wiping out Burnley, letting Abraham admit that now is the time for Boss Lampard’s men to start putting on a regular show on Stamford Bridge.

Asked if it is up to Chelsea players to create a hoarse atmosphere at home, Abraham said: “We have to do it. Fans want to come and watch some good football and recently in our home games we are not giving it to them.

“You could see that we played beautifully against Burnley and that the fans were behind us.

“I think we came to Stamford Bridge recently and it was just a little too slow. Against Burnley, we showed that we started off abruptly and that it continued throughout the game.”

Jorginho gave Chelsea the lead with a converted penalty before Abraham turned a splendid Reece James cross into the home.

Callum Hudson-Odoi has swept third place to sign a good victory for the Blues and a return to home form, but Abraham only knows that the most difficult assignments of Stamford Bridge are in sight.

Arsenal, Manchester United and Tottenham are all close to the Blues in West London, leaving Abraham and the company well aware that they must continue to raise the bar.

“We have to shake the stadium,” said Abraham.

“We have tough games here, but I’m always confident, especially after Burnley’s win, that we can go out and have fun.

“For me I was always confident, it was only a matter of time. We knew we had to give a performance against Burnley and we came out full of confidence.

“It was a little disappointing after the Arsenal win to tie in Brighton, but we had to take Arsenal’s confidence in this game.”
