Terrifying moment at a giant falling tree three walkers are missing at a busy intersection

This is the excruciating moment that a huge tree almost crushes three defenseless pedestrians as they walk along the road.

Giant oak fell on a busy intersection in Ealing, west London.

He dangerously approaches the fall on top of the walkers and barely misses a car on Saturday afternoon.

Dashcam footage shows the moment when the tree was uprooted with a couple jumping off as it fell.

Another woman – at the time crossing the road – dodges the massive tree of a few meters.

The video was taken from Andrew Thomas’ car while driving through the area with his girlfriend Joanna Wolman.

It has already been seen by over 250,000 on Twitter alone.

“As a person with anxiety I was shocked and scared,” Joanna, 33, told the PA news agency.

“Seeing that couple approaching and the tree falling was so horrible for me. You can hear us swearing!

Three people came very close to being hit by the huge oak tree

“That couple was so lucky – a person who is constantly looking for their phone would have been killed.”

They called the police immediately after 4:00 pm and officers informed the local council of the tree felled at the intersection of South Ealing Road and Little Ealing Lane.

Metropolitan police said they believed that no one was injured in the accident.

Andrew, 41, who works as a health and safety officer, said, “My shock is first of all how the tree got to that state – when were the checks done?

“Surely this is the council’s responsibility to ensure the safety of the public? In this case they clearly didn’t.”

The Ealing Council has been contacted for comment.
