We have almost finished devouring all the Christmas chocolate, but now a supermarket is already tempting us with their Easter offer.
Tesco now sells Terry’s brand new mini orange chocolate eggs – and for just £ 1 per bag.
But is it too early to sell Easter chocolate in January when there are still three months of vacation left?
An image of the snack was widely shared online through Tesco’s official Twitter account and on the New Foods UK Instagram page.
While shoppers complain that it’s too early, some already have a hard time finding them in their local stores.
Tesco tweeted: “Terry’s mini orange chocolate eggs are only in Tesco! But are they only for Easter? Like” too early “and RT for” never too early “.”
Numerous social media users replied to the post asking Tesco if they could get their hands on the tasty surprise in their local store, while one commented that he couldn’t find them.
She replied, “I was moaning the other day with all the Easter stuff but a friend of mine posted a picture of them yesterday [loveheart eyes emoji]… It was in my local hypermarket about an hour ago and they didn’t have any. “
On the other hand, fans went wild on the New Foods UK Instagram post, which accumulated nearly 7,5,000 likes, with countless comments from users who tagged their friends.
But that’s not the only chocolate-related news we would have liked to hear this week since Cadbury confirmed that Bournville Old Jamaica will be back on the shelves this year after a petition on Facebook.
The iconic Rum & Raisin dark chocolate bar was originally launched in the 1970s and has since made several limited edition appearances to the delight of consumers across the UK.
