A cyclist died after a serious road traffic collision on a Perthshire road.
The accident took place this morning (Friday 28 February) at 6.30 on the A912 near Aberargie.
Emergency services rushed to the accident scene, believed to involve a car and a male cyclist.
Unfortunately, the cyclist has since died from injury.
The road remains closed and emergency services are still on the scene.
Inspector Greg Burns of the traffic police unit said: “The man’s closest relatives have been informed and our thoughts are with them in this difficult time.
“The road is closed to allow investigation of the incidents and we will appeal to anyone who witnessed the collision to get in touch with Police Scotland on 101 citing 0500 today.”
