The last episode of The mandalorian landed on Disney Plus this Friday and features a hilarious joke of “Game of Thrones coffee mug” proportions.
There are many virtual water cooling moments included in “Chapter 12: The Siege,” such as the mention of an element of the Star Wars story that was long thought to be ignored and a surprising change in Mando’s behavior, but this is it. Unfortunate mistake the one that is getting most of the attention.
The episode sees the return of Cara Dune and Greef Karga when Din Djarin travels to Nevarro and helps them eliminate an Imperial base. At one point, the trio storms the place and one shot contains a big mistake that you may not be able to detect at first glance, but when you do, you can never stop seeing it.

In case you need to be pointed this out, if you focus on the left corner of the frame, behind Carl Weathers’ Karga, a member of the crew can be clearly seen. Although trying to get out of the spotlight, the guy unfortunately doesn’t do a great job and we can see the entire left side of his body. And it’s not like we can fit in with the story either. After all, the T-shirt, jeans, and watch don’t really fit the Star Wars myths.
As we saw with the GoT coffee cup incident, sometimes, despite the countless people who must have cleared this episode for release before it hits our screens, bugs leak out of the net. In this case, however, perhaps we can blame the pandemic. While production took place before the COVID-19 outbreak, post-production was done remotely. With the team working independently from home, then, perhaps there was a greater chance that human error would occur.
The mandalorian Season 2 continues on Fridays on Disney Plus.
