The preview of the xCloud project is expanding into 11 western European countries

The preview of Project xCloud for Android is expanding into eleven different countries in Western Europe. The preview is coming to Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Spain and Sweden.

Xcloud

Recordings for Android preview are open now. All you have to do is visit the Project xCloud website to sign up and get a chance to access the preview. Implementation is still taking place, however. According to xCloud GM, Catherine Gluckstein, the team recognized the tension exerted on Internet bandwidth due to the global pandemic caused by COVID-19. Gluckstein said via Xbox Wire: “We continue to evaluate the COVID-19 situation and will begin presenting the preview of the xCloud project in 11 western European countries when we are confident that it is reasonable to do so.

“We will take a measured approach to help maintain Internet access, starting the preview in each market with a limited number of people and adding more participants over time.”

If you are in one of the countries listed above, you can register your interest now. Once the xCloud team is ready for implementation in your country, they will send an email to specific participants with further instructions.

In other xCloud news, Ninja Theory’s Bleeding Edge was added to the preview, and Microsoft employees began testing the cloud streaming service on Windows 10 PCs.
