The second date begins – Junín Weekly

The second date of the Professional Soccer League Cup will begin this Friday with the match that Gimnasia and Esgrima La Plata will hold against Talleres de Córdoba, one of the leaders of group B. The match will be played at the Juan Carmelo Zerillo stadium, in La Plata, starting at 7.15pm, with the arbitration of Germán Delfino. The other match of the day, Banfield will visit Arsenal de Sarandí at 9.30 pm, with refereeing by Fernando Echenique.

Gimnasia announces the debut of goalkeeper Rodrigo Rey, among the three changes that he will make with respect to the formation that tied 2 to 2 with Boca in the Bombonera: Matías Miranda and Johan Carbonero will enter for Matías Pérez García and Paraguayan Víctor Ayala, both injured. For his part, the Uruguayan Alexander Medina, DT of the “T”, will repeat the formation that started the match against Patronato and ended with a 1-0 victory.

In the other match, the “Drill” leads their group with three units -like Colón, Estudiantes, Godoy Cruz, Rosario Central and San Lorenzo- after the 2-0 victory on the first date against Racing de Juan Antonio Pizzi . Javier Sanguinetti’s team had a correct performance in the match against “La Academia” so their coach would repeat the same team that stopped in the debut. Arsenal, meanwhile, could go with some changes that their DT Sergio Rondina analyzes after the defeat against “Cyclone”.
