The Sims 4 now houses the infamous Parasite home

Fresh from his well-deserved best film award at the Academy Awards, Parasite is now available in The Sims 4 – a kind of. An architect in real life, simkoongarchitect on YouTube, has uploaded many in-depth projects on The Sims 4, including an abandoned cemetery, micro-houses and even The frozen castle of Elsa from Frozen 2. Their latest project should satisfy movie fans, but be aware that it contains some Parasite spoilers.

The video offers you a ten-minute tour of this family homage, starting in the courtyard before all you know-what’s going on. From there, we explore every room, from the lounge with its iconic coffee table and long windows to the wall, to the kitchen, lined with colored glass bottles and its infamous basement door, to the bedrooms on the upper level of each wealthy family person. Feel free to explore using VR-style controls too. It is so metaphorical.

Parasite has received praise from almost everyone these days and, despite being available in many video on demand services, it remains and has even returned to many theaters around the world. A bitter social satire with a really dark humor, we rated Parasite perfect in our review. The film also brought home four Oscars, including Best Picture, Best Director, Best International Film and Best Original Screenplay, marking the first time that a film from South Korea has won one of these categories.

The director, Bong Joon-ho, is now in talks with HBO to bring the story into a limited series told with the help of Adam McKay of HBO’s Succession and has noticed Will Ferrell’s employer. HBO reportedly won in a bidding war against Netflix for rights to the project.
