GOODYEAR, Ariz. – Indians will have to wait until Sunday to open the spring training season.

The seasonal opening of the Tribe against the Reds on Saturday was canceled by the rain. It is the first time that Indians have lost a home game because of the weather since they moved to Goodyear in the spring of 2009.

The Indians will travel to Surprise, Arizona on Sunday to play the royalty. WTAM will bring the game. Their home will open on Tuesday against the White Sox at the Goodyear Ballpark.
