Can you imagine embarking on a galactic adventure in true Star Wars style? This will be possible in the coming months at the new Walt Disney World Resort hotel: Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser.
According to the first images released by the company this week, the concept of this hotel will be completely immersive and will invite guests to experience an adventure in a “galaxy far away.”
“Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser is a whole new kind of experience,” said Ann Morrow Johnson, executive producer of Walt Disney Imagineering, in a Disney blog post. “You are going to live aboard a star cruiser … and you can get wrapped up in the larger story of Star Wars.”
The adventure will begin from the registration, when the travelers are registered in a Galactic cruise MPO-1400 Corelliano called Halycon, where there will be cabins and themed meals, as well as members of the crew dressed according to the adventure, which will begin in a Launch Pod.
According to images released by Disney, the rooms would look like the interior cabin of the spaceship and would have a queen size bed and two bunk beds built into the wall.
The experience also gives guests the opportunity to explore the Star Wars universe. They will be invited on shore excursions to the Black Spire Outpost at the remote outpost of Batuu, as well as on a trip to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, keeping their character roles at all times.
The hotel is scheduled to open “sometime in 2021” and although reservations have not been opened, it is important that they are on the lookout for its official page in case you want to visit it.
