Three drivers were arrested on the same highways of the Lancashire Police after they were found to be drugged.

T3 Tac Ops officers made their first arrest at the Windy Harbor traffic light on Garstang Road near Singleton at 1am.

The silver Renault Clio was tactically stopped by the officers. They found that the driver was allegedly "heavy" under the influence of cannabis and a female passenger was also in the vehicle.

Lancs Road Police tweeted: "The driver had a hard time standing and talking, and colleagues from the armed vehicle made sure the female passenger came home safely." The Renault was seized by the police.

Shortly thereafter, the same officers arrested Garstang Road in Preston again when a silver Mercedes-Benz C-Class was stopped at 5 o'clock. Following a roadside drug test, the driver was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of cannabis and the car confiscated.

The officers then arrested shortly after 6 am on the A6 in Catterall, when the driver of a silver Ford Fiesta was tested for cannabis and cocaine. The driver was arrested for the crime and the Fiesta confiscated.
