Tributes to the famous Perth teacher and rugby player

They paid tribute to a famous Perthshire sportsman and teacher after his death this morning.

Adam Pattinson died of a traffic accident while he was going to work at the Craigclowan Preparatory School in Perth.

He was famous as a player and captain of the Perthshire Rugby Club.

In a club statement, Perthshire Rugby CEO Allan Brown said: “We are totally devastated.

“The thoughts and prayers of all our club members are with Adam’s wife, Claire, his son, Fraser and Adam’s family.

“For many, many years Adam has been at the center of our Perthshire rugby family as a player, captain and club captain.

“We will miss him very much. We will comment and pay further tribute at the appropriate time.”
