A man and a woman were remanded after being brought to justice for the murder of a four-headed father in Co Tyrone.

Pat Ward was found in an alley at McCrea Park in Clogher on Saturday, February 9, at 8:15.

Mr. Ward was originally from Sligo, but had recently lived in the small village.

Niall Cox, 23, and Karen McDonald, 33, both from McCrea Park, Clogher, said they understood the charge on Wednesday morning before the Dungannon Magistrates & # 39; Court.

There was a strong police presence in and out of court when the couple appeared in the dock.

Over 50 relatives and friends of the 30-year-old victim watched the events of the public gallery.

District Judge John Meehan warned that he would clear the court when the defendants were killed.

He said, "I'll clear this court if people do not respect the fact that this is a court, there will be no breach of peace here."

No bail request was made during the brief hearing.

The two defendants were remanded.

They are expected to appear via video link in March.
