Two women and a man died after a fire in a house in Hemel Hempstead during the coronavirus blockade in Great Britain.
Officers were called to Stuarts Close shortly after 12.30 today and the three people were declared dead on the scene.
Today marks the sixth day of Britain’s unprecedented blockade to slow the spread of the deadly coronavirus – with residents said to leave their homes only for a daily training session, vital goods or medical treatment.

Investigative inspector Iain MacPherson of Bedfordshire, Cambridshire and Hertfordshire Major Crime Unit said: “Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the three people who sadly died.
“The firefighters and rescue service in Hertfordshire were already present because there was a fire at the address.
“Officers and paramedics attended, but unfortunately two women and one man were declared dead on the scene.
“Investigators are investigating the circumstances and the forensic agents and the fire investigation team are on site as part of this.”
