For several weeks now, countries have been vaccinating part of their population against Covid-19. Due to the shortage of units, each country has devised its own vaccination strategy in order to distribute the first doses to the most vulnerable people, most of them, intended for people old ladies.
Aware of it, two women have starred in a surreal situation in Orange County (Florida, United States) trying to circumvent the entire selection process going disguised as grandmothers in order to receive the vaccine. It looks like a scene from an Eddy Murphy movie, but it happened in real life.
The health authorities have managed to unmask the two women by checking their respective driving licenses, which indicated that they were of a very different age from what they said. “We have people who pretend to be old to get vaccinated. This Wednesday we realized that two young ladies came disguised as grandmothers to get vaccinated for the second time, so I don’t know how they escaped the first time. They wore hats, gloves, glasses, everything and they were probably 20 years old ”, he declared. Raul Pino, county health officer.
OMG. Dr. Pino just said two young girls in their 20s dressed up as grandmas with “bonnets and gloves” and went through the line to try and get Covid-19 vaccines yesterday.

And it turns out that these two women had already received the first dose of the vaccine, at least that is what their health cards reflected, but it is unknown if they managed to dodge the controls in the same way (going disguised). Both have been transferred and detained at the Orange County Sheriff’s Office. Local media have subsequently leaked that it is a 34-year-old woman and a 44-year-old woman.
