Uncontrolled climate change in the Tlaxcalans – El Sol de Tlaxcala

The abrupt change in temperature drives the Tlaxcalans out of control. There have been frosts in the last hours and extreme heat.

Given this, the authorities alerted the Tlaxcala population to protect themselves from the imminent third “wave” of coronavirus contagion.

Since last week, the Ministry of Health urged the population to comply with the recommendations: do not leave the house, keep a healthy distance and the use of face masks.

As the icy air masses of the two oceans come together, the cold has been felt since Friday, affecting the health of the Tlaxcalans.

On Sunday, Tequexquitla, located east of Tlaxcala, registered minus one degree Celsius, while Tlaxco zero.

Over the weekend, staff from the Atlangatepec city council prevented people from entering the largest dam in Tlaxcala.

Supported by officers from the Public Security Directorate, he besieged the entrances to the “Fuerte Apache” restaurant, a military incubator and through Santa Clara, via Tlaxco, so that the vehicles would not enter.

In addition, with the support of elements of the Secretariat of Citizen Security, he commented that they carried out operations in the vicinity of the coast to remove the visitors who disobeyed.

In this regard, José Macías González, mayor of Atlangatepec, recognized the work of his staff who remained at the access sites to comply with the institutional order recommended by the Health sector.

He also apologized to fishermen, restaurateurs and service providers, who settle in the dam every year to offer food and beverages to vacationers.
