Vacationers face bureaucratic “maze” as only 25 of the 59 airlift countries have no restrictions

The British can travel to 73 destinations – including France, Italy, Spain, Germany, New Zealand, Malta and Barbados – without a mandatory quarantine on their return to England from 10 July.

The official government website does not immediately specify whether the countries on the list will return the provisions without quarantine.

Instead, it urges travelers to check the individual rules for arrivals at their destination, as the measures will differ from country to country with some implementing a ban on arrivals from Britain all together.

Here is a breakdown of some of the holiday destinations and what rules they have in place for arrivals from the UK …

andorra: No entry for arrivals from Great Britain

Antigua and Barbuda: Travelers without dual nationality and with a particular travel history will not be able to enter

aruba: Travel without quarantine for arrivals from Great Britain

Australia: Arrivals to the UK must be quarantined for 14 days

Austria: Arrivals to the UK must be quarantined for 14 days, unless a test shows that they are negative

Bahamas: Arrivals must be able to demonstrate that they are negative for coronavirus or cannot enter

Barbados: Arrivals from Great Britain must remain in quarantine pending the results of coronavirus tests (a test is mandatory)

Belgium: Quarantine-free travel for arrivals from Great Britain

Bonaire, Sint Eustatius and Saba: The borders are closed, which means that no one can enter the country

Croatia: Travel without quarantine for arrivals from Great Britain

Curacao: No entry for arrivals from Great Britain

Cyprus: There is a ban on anyone who has traveled to the UK in the past 14 days

Czech Republic: Travel without quarantine for arrivals from Great Britain

Denmark: Quarantine-free travel for arrivals from Great Britain

Dominica: No entry for arrivals from Britain

Faroe Islands: Anyone arriving from the UK will receive a Covid-19 test upon arrival

Fiji: No entry for arrivals from Britain

Finland: No entry for arrivals from Britain

Guadeloupe: Arrivals will be screened and may need to be quarantined

Hong Kong: Arrivals from Great Britain could be quarantined for 14 days

Hungary: No entry for arrivals from Britain

Iceland: Arrivals can choose to be tested – for which they have to pay – or self-isolate for 14 days. Even children don’t have to

Italy: Quarantine-free travel for arrivals from Great Britain

Jamaica: All arrivals are tested for coronavirus. Those with positive results will be isolated

Japan: No entry for arrivals from Britain

Liechtenstein: Quarantine-free travel for arrivals from Great Britain

Lithuania: Arrivals from Great Britain must be quarantined for 14 days

Luxembourg: No entry for arrivals from Great Britain

Macao: No entry for arrivals from Britain

Malta: No entry for arrivals from Great Britain

Mauritius: No entry for arrivals from Britain

Monk: No entry for arrivals from Great Britain

Holland: No entry for arrivals from Britain

New Caledonia: The travel certificate must be completed – limited flights

New Zeland: No entry for arrivals from Britain

Norway: No entry for arrivals from Britain

Poland: Quarantine-free travel for arrivals from Great Britain

San Marino: Quarantine-free travel for arrivals from Great Britain

Seychelles: No commercial flight

South Korea: Arrivals must be tested and quarantined for 14 days

St Barthélemy: Travel certificate

St Kitts and Nevis: The edges are closed

Saint Lucia: The edges are closed

St Pierre & Miquelon: Travel certificate

Spain: Quarantine-free travel for arrivals from Great Britain

Switzerland: No entry for arrivals from Britain

Taiwan: Arrivals from Great Britain must be quarantined for 14 days

Trinidad and Tobago: The edges are closed

Turkey: Arrivals from Great Britain will be tested when they land

Vatican CITY: Quarantine-free travel for arrivals from Great Britain

Vietnam: Arrivals from Great Britain must be quarantined for at least 14 days
