Venezuelan government extends the authorization date for flights to Cancun

Flights to Venezuela are authorized for all travelers and nationality, although the government entity limits connections to just three countries: Bolivia, Mexico and Turkey; except humanitarian, Medevac and repatriation flights.

Given the lack of authorization to destinations with a greater influx of passengers (Dominican Republic and Panama), most airlines have chosen to offer flights to Cancun, Mexico, to safeguard their operations and keep Venezuela connected.

Unfortunately, the National Institute of Civil Aeronautics (INAC) authorizes every two weeks new flights or available dates for the next fourteen days; giving little room for planning. This time he extended the date until February 13.

To date, the available destinations are: Cancun, Mexico (Avior Airlines, ConViasa, Estelar, LASER Airlines, Rutaca, Turpial Airlines); Istanbul, Turkey (Turkish Airlines) and Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia (ConViasa). In the case of Turpial, the flights are from Valencia.

It should be remembered that to enter Venezuela they must have an RT-PCR test / swab with a negative result of COVID-19 within 72 hours prior to the flight.
