Vettel’s vindictive rainbow helmet at the F1 Turkish GP

The German pilot Sebastian Vettel (Ferrari) has premiered on the occasion of the celebration of Turkish GP, a helmet with the rainbow flag “As a symbol of diversity among people”, in a meeting held in a country where the homophobia still persists and in a week in which the inclusion of the Grand Prix of Saudi Arabia has been announced, where the homophobia is punished with the death penalty, in the 2021 calendar of the Formula 1.

The motto ‘Together as one’ appears on the upper part of the helmet designed by Jens Munser Designs, “A message much loved by Sebastian Vettel in these difficult times ”and that has inspired the design, which expresses his desire for a world“ without borders, only the horizon, only freedom ”.

Also, instead of the traditional German flag, a rainbow, symbol of the LGTBI community, crosses the room from the back to the front, with people of all kinds of ethnicities and origins represented.
