Victoria Beckham joins them for their comeback, after she pointedly reminded them.
Posh Spice has not been included in the line-up.
Mel C has not really commented on this, but she did not raise the point that she was in the mood for the comeback.
She told The Jonathan Ross Show: "Do you know what is actually quite funny?
"I saw Victoria recently and obviously we have all been in contact.
"Just she presumed."
Geri said: "I spoke to her … before the announcement and she has said it for years that she just does not want to do it anymore, so we knew that."
Emma said they were asking Victoria and Ginger Spice Geri said the "door is open".
But Geri added: "We just did not want to do it it's all good. "
Jonathan asked if it was true that Victoria did not enjoy performing in the band, Geri admitted: "No (she did not) and you do not want to make somebody do something they do not want to do. "
Emma added, "We realized that a while back, that she did not enjoy that much."
Mel C denied she demanded the rest of the group's vocal training before her comeback and said her codeword for the Spice Girls Comeback, before it was announced, what cucumber.
And Geri did not rule out releasing new music, saying, "I think it's been to organic process … We think first things first, get out there and sing the hits. that's great. "
