ENGLAND.– Passengers on a train on the Liverpool Street – Sheneld line witnessed the bonding of a British couple who decided to say “yes, I do” in this unusual environment.
The wedding took place last Friday, October 9, in a train car at Liverpool Street station that had been decorated for the occasion.
The ceremony was performed by a pastor and the couple, protected by transparent screens on their faces due to the pandemic, recited their vows and the rings were exchanged.
Several of the passengers witnessed the link, including the 19-year-old student Tariq-Uz, who videotaped part of the ceremony and posted it online.
