(ANSA) – LONDON, 03 MAG – West Ham beat Burnley 2-1 as a visitor on the 34th day of the Premier League, in which West Bromwich and Wolverhampton drew 1-1.
Burnley took the lead with a penalty converted by Chris Wood at 19 ‘, but West Ham reversed the result with a double by Michail Antonio (21 and 29’).
With this victory, West Ham, who lined up Argentine Manuel Lanzini, reached 58 points and recovered the fifth place that Tottenham (56) had snatched from him on the eve in the dispute to qualify for the next Europa League.
For its part, Burnley continues with 36 units, the same as Newcastle and ten more than the penultimate West Bromwich, which barely equaled 1-1 at home with Wolverhampton (42).
