Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles, operating as part of the Classic Legends group, has expanded its neo-classic lineup with the introduction of the Jawa All Stars 42 Bobber in India. Unveiled by Anand Mahindra, Chairman of the Mahindra Group, at the Global Chess League in Bengaluru, the motorcycle arrives as the second model to feature the All Stars treatment following the recent release of the Jawa 42 FJ All Stars. The launch brings fresh visual styling, revised colour options, and distinct graphic treatments to the manufacturer's purpose-built bobber, while retaining the foundational mechanics of the standard platform.

The aesthetic update extends the All Stars trim to the bobber segment, celebrating individual choice and intent. Elaborating on the thematic connection at the Global Chess League, Anand Mahindra stated,

"The Global Chess League has shown how individuality and collective purpose can exist side by side. Every player approaches the board with their own style yet contributes to something larger than themselves. The new Jawa All Stars 42 Bobber reflects a similar idea. It celebrates those who are confident in their own choices and understand that every meaningful move on a chessboard or on the road, begins with intent."

According to Drivespark and Thebikejunction, the updates centre heavily on paint schemes, small styling details, and blacked-out components that create a sportier appearance across select variants. The motorcycle is offered in five distinct shades: Mystic Copper, Jasper Red, Silver Knight, Shadow Black, and Black Mirror. While Mystic Copper serves as the entry point at the base price of Rs 2,08,942, the Black Mirror finish sits at the top of the range at Rs 2.20 lakh. The Black Mirror variant features a chrome fuel tank paired with a black engine, alloy wheels, and exhaust to create a strong contrast. The Shadow Black variant adopts a dark grey matte finish on the fuel tank, side panels, and mudguards, complemented by black tank pads, large "42" graphics on the tank, and All Stars branding on the side panels. Meanwhile, the Silver Knight option utilizes a matte silver base with JAWA and J42 graphics, incorporating chessboard-inspired chequered patterns on the fuel tank, accented by blue highlights on the fenders and blue All Stars graphics on the side panels. Jasper Red retains its deep red and white fuel tank while replacing the previous chrome engine casing with a black finish, and Mystic Copper provides a retro feel paired with a modern black engine casing.

Beneath the new visual themes, the motorcycle remains mechanically unchanged from the standard model. It is powered by a 334cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, DOHC engine that churns out 29.9 PS of power at 7,500rpm and 30.01 Nm of torque at 5,500rpm. Power is channeled through a 6-speed constant mesh gearbox equipped with electronic fuel injection and an 11:1 compression ratio. Handling structural duties is a double-cradle frame supporting a signature cantilever floating seat, complemented by a 740 mm seat height, 145 mm of ground clearance, an 18-inch front tyre, a 17-inch rear tyre, a 12.5-litre fuel tank, and a kerb weight of 177 kg.

Suspension hardware consists of 35mm telescopic forks at the front and a gas-filled mono-shock at the rear featuring a 7-step adjustable preload. Stopping power is managed by a 280mm front disc and a 240mm rear disc, backed by dual-channel ABS as standard. Riders interact with a circular LCD console displaying a digital speedometer, tachometer, fuel gauge, and trip meters, alongside a convenient handlebar-mounted USB charging port.

Ownership terms for the Jawa All Stars 42 Bobber include a four-year or 50,000km standard warranty. Buyers can also opt for extended warranty packages spanning up to six years, roadside assistance coverage for up to eight years, and annual maintenance contracts running up to five years.
