Investigators report that Robinson routinely solicits funds from his millions of social media followers and email subscribers, appealing for money to cover court costs for his ex-wife, documentaries, and support for grooming gang survivors. Yet, tracking the exact capital remains difficult because Robinson does not make overall totals public.

One grooming gang survivor interviewed for a documentary, referred to as Kate, told the broadcaster she was unaware of a cryptocurrency coin promoted in her name and received no financial support from it. The i Paper reported that Kate also disputed Robinson's claims regarding her consent in the film's final cut and accused the activist of exploiting her distress.
Sir Max Hill, the former director of public prosecutions for England and Wales, reviewed the survivor's testimony and suggested the conduct is likely fraudulent, noting the ethical and legal breach of soliciting money from the public for a crime victim who receives nothing. Further allegations from the broadcast claim that thousands of pounds in Bitcoin from a donation wallet may have been spent on gambling, and that four companies handling Robinson's donations failed to file mandatory accounts.
Robinson has strongly rejected the allegations. He maintained that money had indeed been dispatched to a deceased man's family for a promised headstone and asserted he could not pay Kate because she broke off contact. He denied using any suicidal crisis for financial gain or broadcasting calls against anyone's will, while also pushing back against assertions that donor money served as a gambling float.
The investigation additionally highlights potential legal exposure regarding testimony given under oath in the High Court concerning a company operated by his ex-wife, which could invite a police perjury inquiry. Robinson denies any wrongdoing related to his court evidence.
