Chelsea look to bounce back from their defeat to Arsenal as they welcome an impressive, unbeaten Hull City side to Stamford Bridge for a Premier League clash.

Chelsea manager Xabi Alonso responded to transfer speculation linking the club with veteran forwards Danny Welbeck and Jordan Henderson after a pre-season win.

Chelsea have completed a British record £117 million signing of Morgan Rogers from Aston Villa. The deal follows a pursuit that also involved Arsenal.

Xabi Alonso has publicly backed midfielder Enzo Fernandez to remain at Chelsea, marking a strategic move to steady the club ahead of the new season.
