Prime Video's agricultural hit series has pulled in an unexpected following from across the worlds of entertainment and sport, according to producer Andy Wilman. The programme, which details Jeremy Clarkson’s efforts to run a 1,000-acre holding in Oxfordshire that he has managed since 2019, has captured the attention of several prominent figures.

Among the show's admirers is former Formula 1 chief Bernie Ecclestone. Wilman identified Ecclestone as the programme's most interesting fan, noting that the former racing boss operates his own cattle farm in Brazil and regularly discusses livestock with Clarkson whenever the two cross paths at Grand Prix events.

Other notable viewers tuning in include filmmaker Sofia Coppola, the daughter of Godfather director Francis Ford Coppola. Former England footballer David Beckham is also counted among the show's dedicated followers. Wilman revealed that Beckham visited the Diddly Squat holding and experienced a moment of fandom when meeting farmhand Gerald Cooper, reportedly getting so starstruck that he ran over to secure a selfie.

Recent episodes of the programme highlighted social gatherings at the presenter's accompanying watering hole, The Farmer’s Dog. Clarkson opened the venue in August 2024 and subsequently held his first gig at the pub, booking Irish band The Corrs. While the musical sibling trio—made up of Andrea, Sharon, and Jim—appeared performing in the second episode of the show's fifth season, several famous audience members were edited out of the final broadcast.

Among those missing from the scenes were celebrity couple Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi. The former chat show host and the Arrested Development star had relocated to the Cotswolds from America after receiving invitations from Clarkson and his girlfriend, Lisa Hogan. At the time of the performance, the couple shared event footage featuring songs such as "Breathless" and "Runaway" before subsequently deleting the content from their social media pages.

Additional uncredited celebrity spectators watching from a balcony overlooking the stage included singer Natalie Imbruglia, known for her track "Torn", and musician James Blunt, known for songs including "You’re Beautiful" and "Goodbye My Lover".

Meanwhile, production shifts continue across related motoring titles overseen by the same production figures. Clarkson will cameo in the forthcoming reboot of The Grand Tour, which will see social media star and train enthusiast Francis Bourgeois, as well as YouTubers Thomas Holland and James Engelsman, replace the original trio, including Richard Hammond and James May.

The new presenting team will tackle motoring’s most absurd questions across challenging terrains. Upcoming episodes will feature the new team crossing the Angolan desert in track cars and exploring Malaysia's vibrant car culture. A trailer has provided the first evidence of whether the new presenters have succeeded in emulating the original chemistry of the show.
