Activist Sonam Wangchuk has called off his extended hunger strike after discussions with authorities over youth welfare, academic integrity, and student protests.

Sonam Wangchuk has announced he will conclude his indefinite hunger strike if the government meets specific conditions concerning education sector accountability or facilitates a meeting with political leaders. The activist remains under medical observation at Safdarjung Hospital.
