Cool experience. The striking Red Sands Sea Forts, which form part of the Maunsell Forts, are situated just off the coast of Whitstable at the mouth of the Thames Estuary. Took a boat excursion that lasted about 1 hour. It's like exploring an abandoned habitat of some sort. Must see sight if you are ever visiting the Whistable area.
